What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Your tutor will provide you with personalized suggestions and a plan to address your student’s specific needs. After each lesson, you will receive a detailed lesson summary documenting what was covered during the lesson, any problems that came up, and proposals for the future.
Our tutors meet with parents and students at public locations that are convenient for them. Occasionally, tutors will meet at a student’s home if all parties agree. We ask that parents stay with students under the age of 18 unless the student has his or her own car.
The frequency of lessons is totally up to you and your tutor. The majority of our students benefit from meeting twice a week initially, then transitioning to once a week, and finally just as needed. Experience has shown that most students are able to catch up, get ahead, and stay ahead after only a few weeks.

With each lesson, you get one-on-one time with a tutor who is matched to your student’s needs and your schedule, personalized lesson resources, and unlimited contact with a tutor after your lesson.
