I love Maths. One fact about me is the Maths techniques I learnt when I was in both primary and secondary school and in the universities are still intact. Infact I do not have to study a topic before I begin to teach it. I do not only teach well I also can create solvable Maths questions too.
I would teach my students the techniques needed step by step. I am a patient person and I am excited when my students understand my teaching .
I have taught Maths since I left the University of University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 2001. I have taught in Divine Confidence Comprhensive High School, Meiran Lagos,School Masters Academy Ajah Lagos and Troika Bilingual School Lekki, Lagos.I have all this while been involved in after school home lessons too.

Teaching Math is one of the easiest thing I can do. I love Mathematics. Teaching Math is like getting paid for eating enough very tasty meal whenever you want it. Seeing my students understand the concepts, techniques and methods with accompanying better grades gives me joy and satisfaction.
A typical class will see me give the necessary definitions, explanations . We will look at examples together. I will encourage them to try exercises. I will answer any questions they may have. I will give further questions to aid understanding as deem necessary. I will follow with homework. These will aid understanding,improve knowledge and raise confidence. I have done this over ten years.
I can guarantee a better understanding of Mathematics because I possess the following:

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Talk to the student and help him or see that Math is not and will never be a monster
Ask the topic they help in
With necessary aids, diagrams and everyday life occurances give basic definitions, explanations and necessary examples work the examples together with the students . Answers questions that may arise. Give further explanations where necessary. Give students exercises to attempt. Make corrections if necessary. Give other questions to be solved after the session, at home. These questions are looked at the beginning of the next session.

How did you get started teaching?
I started when I was in primary school . I was helping to teach my fellow pupils when assignment was given.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have taught pupils, students and even university students. I have taught bright students and not so bright students. Everyone can understand Math.

Understanding the fact that as you rise each morning and make decisions you employ Mathematics consciously or unconsciously.
You do this whether you deal with people, visit places or buy things.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Believe you will understand the topic.
Pay attention while the session is on.
Ask questions if you don't understand.
Attempt all given questions.
