I am an Electrical Engineer who currently works for a Lithium-ion battery manufacturing company as a Reliability Engineer. My job is to come up with mathematical models and create test plans from these models for reliability testing. I currently hold an BSc. Electrical & Electronics Engineering, MSc. Electrical Engineering and I am currently pursing and MSc. in Applied Business Analytics.
In graduate school, I worked as a graduate teaching assistant teaching Problem Solving in Engineering, Fundermentals of Algebra and Trigonometry, Calculus I and II. I did this while pursing a Master of Science in Electrical Engingeering.
Maths has always been my favorite course and once you realise that everything around us has a mathematical component in it, I believe you will come to see its significance in our lives. As a tutor, my objective is to breakdown whatever aspect of maths into easy to understand bits and to relate every mathematical problem to a real life situation if possible to make learning much easier.
Everyday at work I come across mathematical problems when I have to determine the Mean Time Between Failures of Electronic and Electrical systems or develop failure mode analysis for subsystems. I really enjoy the work I do with maths and I am even more delighted when I am able to predict when a system will fail once it is deployed unto the field.
This is the knowledge and experince I bring to this tutoring job and it is my desire to work with you to solve the mathematics problems presented to you by applying formulas, principles and techniques in maths.
And for those who will be taking maths exams, we will work on finding ways to solve problems within the shortest possible time.
