What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I sit with the student and coach him / her to think things thru without giving answers to math problems right away. I try to have students understand concepts so they can proceed to solve similar problems. I am also a professional magician and use the memory systems in my act to motivate and help students remember formulas.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
. Taught HS Calculus, geometry and Algebra in NJ for over 30 years and tutored after school) both private and in school.
