Colin At SoFlo Math Tutors

Hi! I'm Colin, and a fun fact about me is that I can move my middle finger tendon without moving my finger. Another fact that's arguably just as fun is that I love working with students! The most rewarding part of tutoring for me is when a new concept “clicks” with a student - their excitement is contagious, and it’s a privilege to be able to help them reach that point. On a personal level, I am a gamer, musician, and outdoorsy type of person!

I partner with students on a one-on-one basis in STEM subjects through SoFlo Tutors, my tutoring agency. I studied Applied and Computational Math at the University of Southern California and have been tutoring for 3 years. At SoFlo, we raise grades, strengthen understanding, and increase confidence. Math and Science build on themselves, so our methodology is to identify gaps in a student’s knowledge of a subject and help to fill them in with individualized lessons! In the long-term, we will work ourselves out of a job by helping your student reach their fullest potential!
