About
My name is Miriam Boscana but everyone knows me better by Ms. Bee. I am a 28 years teacher experience working with elementary students. I loved what I am doing. My goal is to help students in the academics areas that they are struggling or want to escalate to the next level. I been Tutoring for about 14 years in the area of Ocoee, Florida. Actually this pass summer I begin working on Saturdays on the East side, taking care Seminole and Osceola county students on a one on one setting at the Herdon Library. I specialize in elementary level special in reading and math foundations. I have a BA in Education, major in Elementary and Secondary, I also have a BA in Recreation, major in administration Parks and Recreation. I am certified in Elementary, ESOL K-12 and Special needs under the private sector associations like, ACSI, and FACCS.
I really enjoy my job from the beginning to the end. I enjoy when the students take initiative and ask me questions about their school work. I also enjoyed when they come back showing me their class improvements. I also, enjoyed when I am challenged and I have to double work to prove a point. Thanks

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always try to meet with the parents and student before I scheduled the first session. I go over the students needs. I also go over sessions location, my availability and payments. If both sides agree then I set up a probation period to see if the student is a good candidate to continue in my program.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have the education that an educator requires to offer this tutoring services. However, I obtained my BA degrees in Education in 1985 and 1991 in the University of Puerto Rico.
