Hello students and parents! I am happy to introduce myself as a 5-year teacher with experience in music and elementary school teaching experience, as well as tutoring and note-taking experience up through the college level. I believe in a student-centered, goal-oriented approach to learning, through the course of which I plan to enhance students’ abilities to complete not what is in front of them now, but what will continue to be brought before them as they progress.

I a CT Teacher's Certification 1-6 and have worked as a classroom educator in grades K-8 for 8 years. I have a Graduate Certificate in Elementary Education and I have taught in Granby, South Windsor schools. My success is based on a combination of approachable style and humor based understandable explanations.

I teach English, Writing, Music (instrumental and vocal), Theater, Art, and History grades 1 through 12. I was a certified English, History and Fine Arts teacher in Massachusetts for over 30 years teaching in public school, private school for behavior challenged students and Performing Arts Schools. I have tutored students individually and in small groups as well as working with home schooled children in the creative arts.
