I have been an award-winning educator for over 50 years. I love the acts of teaching and learning and conversation and communication. I bring enthusiasm and passion to each session. I am now retired, but love to “stay in the game” through tutoring.

Hello students and parents! I am happy to introduce myself as a 5-year teacher with experience in music and elementary school teaching experience, as well as tutoring and note-taking experience up through the college level. I believe in a student-centered, goal-oriented approach to learning, through the course of which I plan to enhance students’ abilities to complete not what is in front of them now, but what will continue to be brought before them as they progress.

My expert approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of all students, including those with special needs. I also have advocated for families who find themselves navigating the special education system. Located in East Hartford, CT, I pride myself on creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment that fosters confidence and excitement for learning. My goal is to see tangible improvements in my students' academic performance while instilling a lifelong love for learning.

I a CT Teacher's Certification 1-6 and have worked as a classroom educator in grades K-8 for 8 years. I have a Graduate Certificate in Elementary Education and I have taught in Granby, South Windsor schools. My success is based on a combination of approachable style and humor based understandable explanations.
