I am a Colorado-raised Harvard Law Student.

Before law school, I worked full time as a high school Algebra 2 teacher and received my teaching license. I am interested in helping students reach their full potential in mathematics in particular and have experience working with students who have 504s/IEPs and tutoring students in the SAT and ACT. What I love about tutoring is motivating students by identifying their seemingly unrelated personal interests and connecting them to the tutoring subject at hand, making it easier and much more fun to learn! I also love assisting with the college admissions process, including cultivating effective personal statements to support students with their applications to top colleges.

I am a physician parent totally struggling with trying to understand the new way of teaching Math .I cannot state how grateful I have been for Mohini taking on the role of teaching Algebra 1 & Geometry to my daughter with a couple of her friends during this pandemic year(wearing masks ,maintaining safe distancing). .My daughter feels totally confident to start High School doing Algebra 2 .

She is an excellent & fun teacher who was able customize the needs of her students .Totally grateful & definitely recommend using her services if you have the opportunity to do so .

She help me through the process of my application for university with great accuracy, taking care of all the details that I couldn’t see.

She’s tried to be available as much as much as she could during the period of tutoring and I personally really appreciate it since as a international student I needed so much help.

As a non-native language student I could had problems of understanding but she made sure to explain herself as much clear as possible.

I really appreciated the effort she put also not during the zoom meeting trying to organize what I needed for my papers.

Mohini provided excellent advice and lesson plans and really helped me throughout my SAT studying. She was extremely flexible with hours and times and gave me very personal assignments. It was super easy to ask her questions and she always knew how to help. I have experimented with multiple different tutors and there was no one who gave me as useful information as Mohini!
