I’m an aerospace engineer and former collegiate athlete with 10+ years tutoring and coaching experience.
After years of research, I created a unique educational program designed to address the more systematic issues students have in school.
My program includes, yet goes beyond, traditional tutoring methods to address the whole person, not just the specific math or science problem.
Hi there!
I'm Cristian and I'm an incoming senior at one of the most prestigious high schools in the nation, Phillips Exeter Academy. I started off tutoring my peers and as volunteer work for elementary and middle schools students during my 8th grade year. Since then, I have fallen in love with helping others with my passion, math, and connecting with younger students! I have taken both AP calculus AB and BC, and have also completed courses in differential equations and linear algebra. Besides math, I am passionate about football, snowboarding, rowing, economics, and the financial markets. Last year, I completed a research assistant internshi

I am a tutor who works as an in person tutor in Colorado State University since 2019. I teach college algebra and calculus. My service stands out because I try to new teaching methods, different from the way math is tauht in a high school. I think math in highschools in the US is not taught well, I am convinced there's a better way.
I teach online using Zoom, Skype and other streaming methods. I have a professional tablet on which I can draw and write like a teacher on a white board.

I myself am an International Student in the USA doing my Sophomore year this FALL 2020. I would like to help my students to know the right and quickest way to solve the problem in front of you so they can get more time and focus on difficult questions. TBH I am just giving this thing a try I am not sure if students like me are allowed to work like this. So lets meet and learn something in an interesting way.
Hello from the Geeky Gal!
I am a mathematician with a passion for helping people learn about the subject that gives a lot of us the urge to eat a whole pint of ice cream in one sitting and watch Netflix instead of tackling problems 1-8 that you and I both know are due in about 14 hours.
My service stands out becasue I do so much more then tutoring. Every student is unique, and there is no one solution that can be applied to each one. My goal is to find out exactly what each one needs and to work with them to acheive their goals.
Whether you are looking for homework help, test preparation, or just a different perspective on the mat

I am a senior at the University of Northern Colorado obtaining a secondary math education degree. I have experience student teaching middle school and high school students as well as private and group tutoring experience.
I believe math is learnable for all students and can actually be quite fun!
Well, I am in the process of getting my bachelor's in Physics Engineering. I have been tutoring math at Front Range Community College for a couple semesters now and realized I'm kinda really good at it.
I've come to realize I not only love math, but also love to tutor others in math. It is wonderful to take a person who knows nothing about the subject they're in, who feels like everything the teacher is saying is Korean, and give them real underlying understanding of the sections- I love seeing that light as everything clicks and they feel confident in themselves and the knowledge they have. And that is why I do this, besides needing to pay

Most of the problems with teaching math and science that I have encountered, or been told about, stems from the inability of the teacher to find different ways of presenting the necessary information. My goal in tutoring is to change that. I want to tailor my teaching style to connect with both the learning style but also the personal expriences of the student.
I have experience with all high school math and science. I have also taken classes at Colorado School of Mines in applied mathematics and in statistics and mechanics of materials.

I know how people learn. I take things step by step and make sure each step is not only understood, but that the student feels "ownership" of that skill or knowledge before adding too much more. That makes it easier to learn new things going forward. I also like to make learning fun, so I try to include games, competition, or rewards in learning to make the activity more pleasurable. That makes students want to come back and helps them retain what they learn for a longer period.
