My name is Karen Sebastian, and I am a retired elementary school teacher and current online tutor. I specialize in helping struggling intermediate (grades 4-6)students achieve and thrive at their full academic potential.

I have years of experience, training, and expertise along with a passion for this kind of work to make available for your student to help ensure that this is the year that the possibilities of making academic gains and meeting academic goals are finally realized.

I have been tutoring online for 3 years, following a full and rewarding career as an elementary teacher. I purposely keep my practice small so that I can really enjoy it as well as the benefits of being retired. I have a proven track record of helping struggling students build up missing foundational skills and teaching missing or new skills in a way that meets the needs of students who just couldn’t learn them in a classroom setting.

This year as some of my older students are ready to move on from tutoring, I will have 1-2 new student slots available.
