Hi! I'm Alexis Low. I tutor middle school to early college math. I have experience working with students with attention/executive disorders, and other significant mental health challenges. Much of that experience comes from my own life--I am autistic and I have ADHD. When I was in grade school, I felt like math was too hard, and that it was impossible to keep everything in my brain. To start out, I love computer science! I have been going through many different computer science classes throughout my years of highschool including AP Computer Science A with Java, A+, Net+, Linux+ and CEH. I have also competed in Cyber Patriots for 6 years now, and have been developing little coding projects for it as well. These projects include automation of different tasks in Windows, and development of a simple application for logging purposes.

I have been tutoring students since I was in high school in a variety of subjects, including math, social sciences, and essay writing. I have my MBA from the University of Vermont with a variety of applicable professional and academic experiences. I love working with students of all ages and needs to help them achieve their personal goals and bring the best out of them. My goal as a tutor is to empower students to feel like they can achieve anything and enjoy the process of learning. I am open to any and all feedback from parents and students alike to tailor my teaching style to best fit the need of each individual student.
