About
I have many years of experience both in the field of mathematics and in tutoring. I have a passion for applied mathematics that lead me to become an engineer and love to help people see the world through those eyes.
I enjoy connecting lessons to real world ideas. I believe when someone is able to find something tangible about the math they are doing, it sticks with them much better and helping someone overcome their intimidation with the subject is so rewarding.

When working with a new student I typically go through homework, tests, or other resources in order to get an idea of their skill level and the things they struggle with. After that I will watch them work through problems while they talk out loud to understand their individual process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's in Electrical and Computer Engineering and have taken many math courses to achieve them.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My rates are:
$25/hr for K-12
$30/hr for College level Mathematics and Engineering
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with everything from elementary level students learning arithmatic, multiplication, and division to college level students learning Calculus. I also tutor engineering subjects and offer code help in many languages including C, C++, Python, Java, and more.
