About
I hold a BS degree with a math major. For 12 years I taught Algebra in the Developmental department at Colorado Mesa University. I love math and enjoy seeing students become successful. I have recently retired from teaching on campus.
Prior to teaching at CMU I tutored students one on one. Topics I have covered range from Arithmetic to Numerical Analysis.
I first tutored Math while I was still a student at College of SI. I tutored students at Florida State University in 1990 and 91. In 1993 I took graduate classes at Memphis State University and tutored math.
My methods vary depending on the individual students needs. If all you need is some help with homework I can do that. I have also created worksheets for students who need them.
I have worked with students to help them overcome Math Anxiety.
Since I have retired from teaching on campus, my hours are flexible. I can make time for you that works with your schedule. We can meet online, I can come to you, or have you come to my home.
