About

I understand struggling in school or even needing some help, I myself received tutoring and I benefitted from it! I take pride in showing patience, compassion, and empathy when teaching people. I am a college student who is looking to help others for a fair rate!

I enjoy helping others reach that level of understanding, to see things 'click' into place. It makes me proud and I know that it makes other proud too. Although I do not have much experience, I have been tutored myself and I know how to make people feel comfortable while they learn unfamiliar things!

Frequently asked questions

I first would like to get to know a little about the student, what they are needing help with, and their tendencies. Whether it is something specific, or just overall help with a subject, I am flexible! I want to make sure I create a safe and comfortable environnent in which we can both work together to reach an understanding.

I am currently a senior in college, studying applied statistics with a mathematics minor. I have taken courses in almost every subject and I enjoy math and science most. I have gone through calculus 3 at the college level and I am even tutoring for my university.

Standard pricing I am relatively flexible, depending on the subject. My base fee is $20 an hour, but might increase depending on the subject needed.

While taking math courses in college, it did not always come easily to me and I had to work really hard. I even got tutored, so it inspired me to help others reach the understanding that I was trying to achieve.

I have worked with high schoolers and some college students, but I am open to any age!

One recent event that I am fond of was while taking calculus 2, I got an email asking if I would become a tutor for next fall because they noticed my hard work and my mastery of the content. I was proud to be acknowledged for my hard work and to know that they thought of me as someone who could help others.

I would advise a student not to be hesitant! Asking for help is okay, there are no stupid questions in my book. I would also advise students to be patient because it is not an instant gradification--like anything in life it takes hard work and dedication.

I think that students should think about what is their goal? What are you struggling with? Are there any patterns? Think about questions to ask me!
