Peak Tutoring

My passion is helping students gain skills and confidence through one-on-one, customized tutoring. I tutor in-person in Colorado Springs and with students located anywhere, online.

I work with students of all ages and tutor math through algebra 1 and geometry, spelling, reading, science, history, study skills, executive function support, and SAT prep.

I am a licensed teacher with a Master's degree in teaching. I taught in a middle school for 10 years. When our first child was born, I became a private tutor to have a more flexible schedule and quickly discovered I loved it.

I love working one-on-one with students, building a relationship with them, and tailor-making lessons to be just exactly what they need. Perhaps a student needs concepts explained differently than the teacher did in class. Maybe class moved too quickly, and they just need more practice with a concept.

My rates are $80 per 45-minute session for regular tutoring and $210 for 90-minute SAT prep sessions.

The reason I named my business Peak Tutoring was not only because I live near Pikes Peak, but I love to help students reach their peak in academic success and confidence!
