I am curious and inquisitive about the world around me. I have always found joy in learning as well as in sharing the knowledge I’ve garnered. I love to learn new things every day and sharing what I have learned. For over twenty years I’ve had experiences where I’ve tutored, taught and researched. Each experience has spurred me to learn quickly and apply what I’ve learned. And I’ve always tried to demonstrate my passion for the learning process to others.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Initially I introduce myself and tell them about my personal academic background and teaching/tutoring experience. I then ask them about themselves and their goals. This includes what class or subject matter they are currently studying and what challenges they are currently experiencing. I then mention to them that I have a personal library of books I utilize for supportive materials along with high quality websites, PDF's and other instructional information I've downloaded from the internet. I also stress to a new student that all questions are welcome. And then we begin. I'm always sensitive to answering any question the student might have, no matter how small it might seem.
