I am a retired high school math teacher who has been tutoring since 1986. I have taught everything from Pre-Algebra through Pre-Calculcus and enjoy helping students to relaize that they CAN understand and enjoy math.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We will briefly discuss how they feel about math and what they want out of our sessions. I will need to know what they feel confident about and what they want to improve. I will answer any questions they may have about me and then we will get to work!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned my bachelors in Math and Psychology, as well as my TX secondary teaching vertificate in Math and Psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. I earned my Colorado Teacher's certificate from the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs and my Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) from Colorado College. I am also a Fellow at Cal. Poly's Ahimsa Institute.
