Ada Conway Tutoring

Hi! I'm Ada, I'll be a doctoral student in Computer Science starting in Fall 2026. I'm capable of tutoring a wide variety of mathematics and computer science. I was the preferred computer science tutor for 2 years during my undergraduate career.

I take a questions-based approach to tutoring. We start with the student explaining the problem area. I'll then ask questions to identify the underlying lapses in understanding, then we'll spend time addressing those underlying issues so that the student can strengthen their problem area. Examples of this may include me helping a student through a problem or program, breaking down the problem into its component steps, or taking some time to clarify what a theorem means.
