Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Our instructors will first get to know the student and assess where they are currently with the material and their confidence level. We feel it is important to establish a rapport and trust with the student. If the student likes the instructor, he or she is more likely to put in their best effort.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our instructors are active teachers who lead classes at several HomeSchool Campuses throughout Southern California for grades TK to High School.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Our usual quote is $50 an hour with a one-hour minimum.
What types of students have you worked with?
We work with students in every grade TK-12 and any ability level. Our instructors have experience working with students who have learning challenges as well.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you are comfortable with the instructor. You should feel a connection with your teacher.
