Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We begin with a placement test in all areas, listening, writing, reading, and speaking to determine our starting point.
Then we set up a meeting schedule that works for both parties.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Native speaker and did some of my college work in México. I also have a Masters in Cross-cultural Education and a bilingual teaching credential.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing depends on the distance to the student's home and to the number of hours pre-paid.
How did you get started teaching?
We had a physical learning center in Santee for 6 years where we tutored students from online charter schools and private students.

We have had students from 3rd grade to adults.
Sometimes we bring groups to our Tijuana facility for total immersion courses.

The mariachi festival that took place two weeks ago in Chula Vista. Students from local schools danced and played traditional Mexican music. The food offerings were exquisite!
