I'm a Civil Engineer graduate from CSUN. I have been tutoring Maths for the past 8 years and Maths in classes related to my major; some include statistics, statics, linear algebra, differential equations, calculus I, II, II and many more major courses.
I prepare lessons with examples and then a separate sheet of problems to be solved. I would go over the concept with my students as many times as needed and solve practice examples to make we’re on the same page.
If any of my students would like to go over specific problems that they have, they would have to let me know ahead of time so I would be fully prepared for them when we meet.
From experience, I have learned that patience is key because it’s important to know that not everyone has the same learning capacity and understanding. Therefore, when I am tutoring my students, I am always patient and ready to go over the material as needed with positive energy until it’s fully grasped.
I enjoy tutoring since it allows me to help people struggling the same way I struggled growing up.
