I feel compelled to share a great "find" we made last year. School had only been in session for two weeks before my kids came home lamenting that their AP Physics teacher left them totally confused and stressed out. Switching to a less demanding schedule wasn't an option so I decided to look for some help. Lord knows, it wasn't going to come from me or my husband! I found Daniel, a 2012 UCLA engineering grad who has been tutoring for many years. After the boys' first meeting with him, the level of stress in our household plummeted and the boys did well on their first physics test. We've decided to have him come regularly, just to make sure the boys understand the material and keep them confident. The boys ended up with A's in the class and doing well on the AP test. Daniel was able to help them with anything they didn't get in their calculus class as well. So as you stare the next school year in the face, if your child has any difficulty with their studies, especially in math or physics, consider talking to Daniel. He's a lovely young man and the boys really responded to him well.

I could not be more thankful that Mint was my teacher for SAT Math. She was very understanding of the material and constantly came up with ways to make learning fun for her students. With her tricks to memorize the skills I needed to learn for specific for the SATs, I was able to get the score I had never dreamt of: 780.

Our son (8th grader now) is extremely introverted. It takes a lot of time and effort to establish trust with him. Most people fail. Mr. Russel catered his words, topics and behaviors to tailor to his needs. He put in an unbelievable amount of time and effort to get to know him and earn his trust. So much so that, Mr. Russel is probably THE closest person he has outside his immediately family. Mr. Russel is invaluable and irreplaceable. Grades? his grades went from 2.67 to 3.5 over just 7 months. But, more importantly, he found a friend.

On time, professional teaching , ever since I started working with eurekademics I have been able to pass all my classes and understand the concept of each lesson. Gene is a very professional teacher and is always there on time whenever you need him. I have never failed working with him in any of my classes. I never really had the best experience with tutors, but with Harout I had the most effective teaching experience. He takes his time to actually make sure you understand concepts and is also really fun to work with. The best tutor a student can ask for!
