Hello. I'm Angie Yuan, Owner of Mathnasium of Santa Clara, your neighborhood math-only learning center. We help kids in grades 1-12 understand math by teaching the way that makes sense to them.
When math makes sense, kids leap way ahead – whether they started out far behind or already ahead in math. Our formula for teaching kids math, the Mathnasium MethodTMhas transformed the way kids learn math for over a decade across 900 centers in the US and Canada.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We conduct a comprehensive written and oral evaluation to assess what the student knows and does not know. From the assessment we create a customized learning plan that target skill gaps and develops Number Sense. Students receive personalized instruction that follows their learning plans and caters to their individual needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Mathnasium instructors are passionate about math and great with kids. Each one of them pass our Math Literacy Test and receive specialized, ongoing training for teaching the Mathnasium Method. They could be elite students from High School, Colleges or College Graduate with math/engineering degrees, or they could be veteran teachers.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We charge a monthly fee of $285 to $365 for up to 10 one-hour sessions to all students, and we recommend twice a week attendance for all students. Our opening hours now are Mon-Thu 3-7pm, and Sat 10am-1pm.
