Foundations Academy

I have been working with homeschooled children since 1983. I currently have a classroom in my home and teach children who are in charter schools. The grades I am teaching this year is TK-3rd grade. I focus on reading, writing, and math.

I am tough but fair. Hard working students get rewarded for their hard work. 👏🏻👏🏻 Currently, I have room for 3 more students in my classroom. I only take 6 students at a time. This way everyone gets the individualized attention they deserve.

I combine old school with new school methods. I use worksheets, hands on materials, and educational apps to teach and strengthen core skills. I like to zero in on learning gaps and fill those in so each student feels confident before moving on to new concepts.
