About
Throughout high school and college, I took a variety of math classes. In terms of scores, I received a 5 on the AP Calculus AB exam and a 750 on the SAT Math section. Through college, I've taken many advanced math classes that have required me to constantly review and understand the many principles of math that are often covered in high school. These classes include: Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Multivariable Calculus, Abstract Math.
I understand how competitive school is now, and especially how daunting performing well in math classes can be. I want to serve as a resource to you guys and make the process a little less intimidating!

Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a recent college grad from Emory University. While I was in school, I minored in Mathematics, so I am prepared to help you in a wide range of math subjects. I previously tutored with a different company called Grade Potential, focusing on SAT material and writing skills. With my educational background I believe I'd be an effective math tutor, and I look forward to helping you!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge up to $30 per session, with each session lasting for 1 hour.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with elementary, middle, and high school students. My experience ranges from helping students with reading, writing, math, and SAT material.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
The best piece of advice I would give to a student is look for a tutor who is adept at explaining material in different ways. Math is a subject that can be explained by multiple methods, and often requires finding a certain one that the student can understand and then utilize on their own. Math can be intimidating, but you should never give up!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should consider which methods and what kind of environment they learn best in so the tutor can try to accomodate. The student should also think about if their tutor is someone they feel comfortable communicating with about their struggles in relation to the tutoring material since improvement may not happen without proper communication.
