SAT 750+ Math, High School Math Prep & College Admissions Coaching
About
I am a PhD student studying Computational Genetics @ UC San Diego. With 11 years of AP/high school math tutoring experience and 3 years of SAT/GRE test prep experience, I empower students to achieve their highest scores! I have a 24/7 message access policy for questions outside of regular tutoring hours. Additionally, I offer college, graduate school and medical school essay drafting and brainstorming. Included in every tutoring or test prep service is helping students create a customized study plan, including day-by-day goals and recommendations of the most effective test prep books and online resources on the market.
I love the moment when a student becomes empowered in their learning. I love breaking down intimidating subjects into fun, digestable, and clear steps. :)

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will teach you deep concepts to master the top 10% of difficult questions confidently!
If you want to master more than just tips and tricks and want to learn how to solve the toughest problems in high school/middle school math and the GRE and SAT exams, I can show you how.
We will begin our first session with an assessment of what sections in the SAT math you have most room to improve upon (ie: fill-in, advanced algebraic manipulations, percent increase/decrease, parabolas...etc). Based on how long you have to study and your target scores, I will help you create a customized and detailed study plan, whether it be 2 days, 2 weeks, or 2+ months. Additionally, I will recommend online and print test prep books if you wish to supplement our tutoring sessions with extra practice problems, which students purchase on their own. After each assessment, I will send you home with next steps to focus on, and a summary of our learned concepts for the current session. I will teach you the fastest "shortcuts" to get to the answer quickly after we master the fundamental quantitative concepts.
My organized, goal-oriented and efficient study methods worked for dozens of students with varying goals, backgrounds, and study timelines.
