About
My service stands out because I am more relatable to elementary to high school students considering I was just a student myself who graduated from college in June 2024. I will be able to understand the perspective of the student and therefore deliver quality tutoring that meets their specialized needs. I have prior successful experience with tutoring and am equipped with a math degree from UC Davis.
I enjoy helping students gain confidence when doing math. Confidence goes a long way because when the student begins to understand what they are doing, it becomes easier and more fun as they start getting questions right. I aim to help students know how to handle frustration when doing math and overcome it as they grow in their skills.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated UC Davis with a 3.45 GPA with a Major in Mathematics and Minor in Education. During my time in college, I did teaching internships as two different high schools. During K-12, I completed mathematics courses from basic math to AP (Advanced Placement) Calculus, and have achieved perfect grades in all classes. I scored the highest score of 5 on the AP Calculus BC Exam, which translates to an "extremely well qualified" recommendation or an "A+ or A" college course grade equivalent according to the College Board.
