What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to find out about them as a student such as the classes they are currently enrolled and what career aspirations they have. I also like to find out how they feel about their current math class and math competency. From there, I like to ask how they prepare for quizzes and or tests.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am fully credentialed by the state of California to teach Math. I currently teach high school level Geometry and Statistics.
How did you get started teaching?
I started getting involved in teaching by noticing that I liked helping my siblings and school classmates, especially in math. In college, I worked as a tutor and continued to enjoy helping out my classmates.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with various grade levels but primarily with middle and high schoolers.
