Innovation Education
About
I founded Innovation Education, formerly Math Magicians, because practical, cost-effective tutoring that helps students with the work they are currently learning in school was not available in our community. I am a math and STEM teacher and I didn't have an answer for parents seeking a tutor for their students.
Teaching students and helping them master the skills they need to succeed in school and in life has been a passion of mine since I started teaching.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Normally, we get to know the student, what their struggles are, and what their objective is for the tutoring sessions. Then we discuss how the student studies, takes notes, etc. when the student is working through the problems, we ask leading questions to help guide the student to their own understanding based on background knowledge, their understanding of the concepts, using their notes and the text to help guide them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have years of experience as teachers and college students in math related fields as well as a variety of other disciplines including reading, writing, foreign languages and science.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing depends on whether the students wants private or semi-private tutoring and on the number of hours purchased in advance.
