About
My goal is to help students understand and thrive in mathematics; anywhere from pre-algebra, algebra, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and calculus. I've been taking math almost my entire life. I excelled at math since elementary school, and it is still relevant in my present life as I am actively enrolled in math classes at my college. I understand many of the struggles students deal with; such as having an unsatisfactory teacher, not understanding fundamental concepts, and applying knowledge to different types of problems. I explain steps and concepts as simply and clearly as I can, and have good patience with struggling students. In the past, I've helped many students and my own personal friends to successfully understand concepts and specific problems that they could not grasp. I want students to really shine and thrive in mathematics, as it holds high importance in our society filled with technology, medicine, and engineering.
I love getting the opportunity to help students succeed and make a positive lasting difference in the lives of others. I want students to really improve in mathematics and make seemingly difficult concepts very easy to understand.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first like to get to know my student, such as what type of course they are enrolled in and what concepts they are struggling in. I also like to see their work from past problems to see what their preferred style and methods they use. This will help me plan future lessons on how to best effecitvely tackle the problem and help them understand the needed fundamental concepts.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently a full time student to become a meteorologist. As a result, I am required to take three calculus courses to complete my major. Calculus has taught me the importance of knowing a collected handful of past concepts from algebra, trigonometry, and pre-calculus. I am actively using mathematics in my school life, and I also want students to understand the easy concepts that most teachers make convoluted.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I understand that tutoring can easily be expensive, and that many young students struggle with money. Anywhere from $15-$25 per session is totally acceptable to me. Moreover, I am flexible and negotiable when it comes to hourly rates.
How did you get started teaching?
I started out by tutoring my own personal friends for various math courses. As they provided me with more positive feedback than I anticipated, I realized I can use my craft to easily explain seemingly hard concepts to others with ease and comfort.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with college and high school students. Though, age does not matter to me and I want to help anyone who is struggling with math.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don't be afraid to reach out, I am very friendly and open to new ideas and negotiations. I love meeting new people and helping them achieve their goals.
