I love to teach Math and Computer programming to children. Very patient, energetic with children while teaching.
I am an Electronics Engineer with an MBA in Sytems. 19 years of IT experience.
I primarily focus first on concepts and then practice until student gets it right. Idea is to make student comfortable with maths & computers, and also the topics where they are struggling.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I understand the areas where student needs help. Then I focus on those specific areas to teach the concepts or any background required in those areas.
Once the student start learning the concepts, I will introduce them to simple problems. Do some exercise problems along with them as well so that they get the confidence.
Once the student attains some level of comfort, I will then encourage them to practice more so that they can get comfortable.
I believe that every student is different, so I customize the pace and way of teaching accordingly.
At the end of the day, mission is to get the student start liking mathematics and become ready to solve challenging problems in the areas they were initially struggling.
Maths is Fun is my motto while teach my students. I also learn more as I teach them :-).
