About
I am a former teacher with Los Angeles Unified School Dist -1983-2015 -I taught art, ESL, reading, writing, bilingual art. I have begun my tutoring work in 2018 with students who needed help with literature essays, Spanish essays, developing vocabulary, reading comprehension, as well as art history, humanities essays, tests, and reports. Being a visual artist has helped me to develop various ways of teaching-an artist is always problem solving-this has helped me work with students to develop alternative and fun ways to learn. I also write art reviews and interviews on my blog:www.onehundredpercentrag.blogspot.com.
I can also tutor in art -drawing, painting, mixed media, art theory, art workshops in my studio
I enjoy the one to one exchange that online teaching provides. The student and the teacher can focus individually for clearer results. As a former teacher, I always enjoyed being able to offer students their personal time.
