Hi! I'm Kasey. I am a former classroom teacher whose passion for literacy led me to become a 1:1 reading tutor. I am currently getting certified in Orton Gillingham, a reading approach great for all readers including those with Dyslexia. I have 8 years experience with teaching and literacy, have completed over 100 hours of early literacy coursework, and I LOVE helping students become successful, independent readers!

I have my students take a practice test when starting with me to pinpoint what areas of focus we need to work on. That way every session is utilized in a very productive manner. I believe in being fair. My students pay a month at a time. They are not locked into 10 sessions like other tutoring companies. My goal is to provide a service that meets their needs. I also believe in hard work. My students are expected to complete all homework assignments and essays. I make myself available via text or email 7 days a week until they take their test.
