Hello! My name is Yamilet and I am thrilled to work with you!

A little about me, I have over five years of experience as a classroom teacher, working both in-person and online with students from diverse backgrounds. In addition to my classroom roles, I’ve provided one-on-one academic tutoring and home-school instruction for students in grades Pre-K through 8. My work has centered on supporting learners with a wide range of needs, including those with autism, apraxia, and other learning differences, across core subjects such as English Language Arts, reading comprehension, and math. I develop individualized learning plans, adapt instruction to meet varying needs, and work closely with families to monitor progress and support both academic and social-emotional growth.
