About
- I have 4 years of experience tutoring pre-college and college students.
- I have won a medal in the 2015 national Mathematics Olympiad in Russia.
- I have finished my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics in Cambridge, UK (Top 5 University in Mathematics).
What I like about mathematics is the ability to be creative when tackling problems. Hence, I try to steer my students away from the traditional formula-memorizing method which most schools apply to tackle problems and incentivize creativity. Furthermore, I try not to explain the concepts to my students fully. I give them hints as to if they are understanding the concept correctly so they can come to their conclusion themselves.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Building a rapport with a prospect is the most crucial element of the entire process. Students may be struggling with numerous things at this point, so establishing confidence in them before tutoring begins is critical to their success. We collaborate to develop their specific action plan. Students provide a thorough explanation of their existing circumstances as well as the outcomes they want to achieve. Following that, we develop a set of objectives as well as a strategy for carrying out the plan of action in order to achieve the desired outcomes. This plan is dependent on the student's present requirements, but typically incorporate some kind of pre- and post-session communication in order to track progress.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have completed my Bachelor's degree in Science at Cambridge, UK - one of the top universities in the world in Mathematics. During my years at Cambridge, I have tutored high school students as well as university students.
