I enjoy creat an interative method of teaching that student feel engagement and improvement of his problem solving skills in Math, ACT, SAT and MCAT or regular high school and college Math and Physics courses
I have been doing this half time during my Ph.D and in last 20 years since I enjoy teaching and giving back to community
I have PhD in applied Mathematics and signal processing, I am confortable teaching from basic math to the most complicated stochastical signal processing Math.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I will ask her what are the areas he/she wants to improve, Second I will make an assesment of her Math skills and knowledge in those areas to know his/her current state, and then try to discover the interactive ways that he/she can learn better (like is he/she a visual learner) during first one or two sessions.
then set up some reading material and homeworks to practice the subject I taught

My MS. & Ph.D. education full of different Math courses from Algebra to Calculus to Geometry and others
I also teached during my PhD education some of Math courses for undergraduate students
I have been teaching half time during last 20 years
