Math Mind

I am currently studying at Cosumnes River College and hope to transfer to a four-year University to study Astrophysics and Engineering once I have completed General Ed courses. Until then, I would love to help struggling students along their math journeys so that they may find some enjoyment in it or to at least help make the journey a little easier along the way.

I have years of babysitting experience that often required helping kids and young teens with homework and studying for tests. I also have experience tutoring kids with ADHD, for whom I developed a specialized style that allows them to be more active (as opposed to having to sit still the whole time) while they study that enables them to be more focused. My method is always to find out how the student learns best and then create a tutoring style that best fits their needs.

As a college student Math is one of my best and favorite subjects despite having struggled with it as a kid. The inspiration of one enthusiastic middle school math teacher and the help of tutors has shown me how important it is to have someone who is passionate about Math there for guidance when it gets tough.

I truly love math and want to help younger generations see how beautiful and cool it can be so that they don't miss out on discovering the wonderful things math can help them accomplish.
