About
As a lover of literature and a UC Davis student pursuing a minor in English, tutoring doesn’t even feel like a job. I enjoy assisting others with writing and seeing them begin to enjoy it. I’ve been tutoring others since I was just fourteen, and it’s inspired me to aim at becoming a professor.
English has always been my favorite subject since I was a child, it doesn’t even feel like work to me. I also enjoy history and humanities, and helping others with it has always came naturally to me. As someone who’s been doing it for free for years, I’ve grown to simply love educating and assisting the youth.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first try to match their paced, because rushed learning can ultimately be the cause of a worn-out student. I try to understand their personality and study behaviors and do my best to use their preferred method and help them see learning is about understanding, not just memorizing information and spitting it out.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a tutor at my high school for all four years, even during my summer before college. I am currently a first year at the University of California, Davis.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
