Pyda Tutoring

I have developed a range of skills and experiences over the years that make me an effective and efficient tutor. My past tutoring experiences have taught me how to adapt my teaching style to fit each student's learning style. I am highly organized and always come to each lesson with a plan, as well as review materials for after the lesson. In addition, I have a deep knowledge of the subjects I teach. For example, I received a 5 on the AP Calculus BC exam and an 800 on the SAT II Math Subject Test, and have completed advanced coursework in linear algebra and discrete mathematics. I also received a 5 on the AP Computer Science exam and have completed advanced coursework in programming languages and algorithms. My academic and professional background have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to excel in these subjects and help others do the same. My ultimate goal as a tutor is not only to help students succeed academically, but also to foster a love of learning and problem-solving.
