About
I am an experienced, patient and passionate professional tutor with proven success in raising my students’ grades, as well as boosting their confidence.
I have been doing private 1:1 tutoring (on and off, both paid and volunteer) for about 30 years. I have been a full time private tutor (my own business) for the last 5 years. Tutoring is not something I do on the side like some college students or retired teachers. It is my career and I am fully committed to my students and their success.
Unlike most tutors, I prepare structured lesson plans that are completely customized to each of my student’s level, goals and needs (materials and practice worksheets included). And I keep the sessions interactive so that students stay focused, engaged and motivated.
I absolutely LOVE working as a tutor! It's incredibly rewarding to watch my students learn, grow, gain confidence and achieve success. I am passionate about empowering students to succeed by tapping into their learning potential!
