About
Hello. My name is Vickie Kim. I love teaching, seeing students learn, and apply that knowledge on their own. I've been a tutor for 10 years and the field of education for 29 years primarily Grades Kindergarten, 1 - 6. I particularly have most of my experience in the core subject areas of Reading, Language Arts, and Mathematics. But I enjoy teaching Science, Social Sciences, and Test Prep. as well. I encourage creativity, motivation, as well as teaching to the modalities (visual, aural, kinesthetic) infused with each lesson. Believing in yourself once the "light bulb" of learning has occurred and applying this knowledge on your own is in itself a satisfying accomplishment well done.
