My name is Jake Pederson; a tutor and soon to be grad school student from Clovis who specializes in providing personalized educational support across a range of subjects, including acting, literature, social sciences, reading, writing, special needs tutoring, and test preparation for Math and Reading. In working with a variety of students from different educational backgrounds, I know and understand that every student has his/her unique way of learning. Some students are more visual, while others may learn more effectively via prolonged use of auditory cues. I have worked with many different types of students including developmentally challenged or behaviorally challenged students and believe in implementing proven methods of effective learning, accommodating each student's learning needs by setting achievable goals.

My name is Francesca and I am from California. In elementary school and all the way through high school, algebra was my "niche" when it came to math. Finding the letter "x" was like a puzzle to me :). Working with me means there will be a lot of patience on my end. I know it can be difficult working with a subject that doesn't come easy and I, myself, have struggled with subjects like that too so I'm very understanding. And I just want to support anyone I can help and uplift their spirits along the way as they learn.
