Hello, I am Carlo! I am a math tutor at College of the Sequoias with over a year of professional experience tutoring math, but have also tutored on the side. I am a current Engineering student at COS and my algebra and trigonometry and calculus are still fresh in my mind, as I use it often at work. I tutor basic math, including fractions, algebra, trigonometry, and also Calculus 1 and basic to intermediate c++. I generally tutor in a slow, calm easy to understand way by teaching with simple examples, but if you have a different learning style, I am open to new ideas and will try my best to best serve you!

I have extensive experience analyzing and articulating relevant information verbally and in writing, and interacting with people from diverse backgrounds. I have a demonstrated ability to develop positive rapport with students; I have helped students improve math and Language Arts test scores, and have helped them move from failing grades to passing grades; on average 10 percent grade improvement. I have a passion for coming along side students who have struggled with mathematics or English, helping them to achieve incremental levels beyond their current comfort zone....
