What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to leave what we need to work on pretty dependent upon the student. However, I'll ask some questions to assess what they need help on and then we will go from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have tutored in various subjects for 10+ years. I have 4 Associates degrees (one of them is in Math), a Bachelor’s in Education, and I am almost finished with my Master’s in Education to become a professor.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Do not be afraid to ask questions. You are the one paying them and if you need something, speak up. If you don't understand something, do not brush it off.
