My business stands out by providing high-end tutoring lessons for students. The lessons support the students to become critical thinkers and problem solvers!
I love tranferring my mathematical knowledge to children with different mathematical backgrounds. I interact with students by providing the required mathematical support, encouraging them to be succesful in their math courses, learning their prefered ways to reach teir goals, and creating fun ways to learn math.
I am currently earning my math teaching credential. I graduated from CSUS and I am currently attending National University. I have been tutoring algebra for more than four years. The places where I have tutored are Sierra Community College and CSUS. I have worked with students who come from different mathematical backgrounds.
I enjoy seeing individuals of all ages achieving success in their math classes! I pat myself on the back after knowing that students pass their classes with ease or encounter zero difficulties solving math problems. My biggest gratitude is when I hear that struggling students whom I have helped enjoy doing math!!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I generally get to know a new student by asking him/her parents some relevant topic information, such as, What math class is the student currently taking? What are some main concerns about this class? What are instructional strategies used by the math teacher? What are the studying strategies employed by the student? What is the student learning preferences/styles?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a tutor for over four years, I have worked two years as a math teachen and I have worked over one year as a teacher substitute for different subjects.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $25.00 per hour and my payment method is cash only. After a student has been tutored for ten hours, he/she recieves half hour of free tutoring. Notice: I do not tutor students for less than one hour.
