I have worked with students for 5 years and love to see how a student grows! I love to make learning fun and giving students different strategies to learn.
I work on keeping students confident in what they are learning and what they can achieve.
I worked in different grades with different ages ranging from 4-20. I have worked with students with different abilities such as autism and dyslexia.
I also have a son who I support with his classwork and use many of my teaching skills with him as I am working on becoming a teacher or a speciast of my own.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Building rapport with students is always a main goal of working with a student. Learning what their likes and dislikes are make learning easier by connecting what they know with what they are working towards in school.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in schools in general ed classrooms as well as special ed classrooms for 5 years.
How did you get started teaching?
I started as a paraprofessional for a classroom and fell in love with how students learned and how much they grew within the year.
