Peter:
I'm an experienced mathematics tutor.
I have a degree in mathematics from University of California at Santa Cruz and I teach statistical reasoning there fall quarter.
I have been tutoring for about six years. I have experience working with a range of students from from students who are struggling or have learning disabilities, to students looking for advanced material or math olympiad training, and I have worked with students from elementary school to college undergraduate level. I specialize in working with students that have developed math anxiety or are having challenges in math.
Jack:
I’m a tutor for mathematics, physics, and english classes.
I am a senior at Branham High School, where I have taken several AP classes (Physics 1, Calculus AB, Statistics, and English Language and Composition) and scored all 5’s. In addition, I scored a 1500 on the PSAT and a 1540 on the SAT, and am currently a National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist.
I have been tutoring for about 3 years. I have experience tutoring students struggling in all of the topics mentioned above, and have tutored both students older and younger than myself. I specialize in tutoring for the specified AP classes and for the SAT, but am able to work with students doing math outside of the scope of those classes.
