Nag Tutoring
About
I take a holistic approach and work on the confidence of the student, as well as his or her aptitude in the material. I can tackle even the toughest of problems, while still making the student feel comfortable. To me, it is important to support the student, so they feel self-assured in learning the new material. This way the student is likely to want to keep learning, thus becoming more proficient in the material.
I strongly enjoy teaching. I have been teaching since I was thirteen years old. Teaching, in any capacity, is very rewarding, because I love to see my students succeed.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, I like to start by finding out where he or she feels the weakest. This way, I can address the root problem, rather than jumping into new material and overwhelming the student. I have ample experience teaching, through different organizations and I can apply my experience to any situation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked teaching children dance, reading, and English through different organizations. I taught, and still teach dance through the Tarangini School of Kathak Dance. I taught English literacy and reading at Reading Partners.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard pricing per lesson is $25 per hour.
How did you get started teaching?

What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all ages. This ranges from 4 years old to 15 years old.
