About
As someone who has worked as a writing mentor for nearly two years now at Arizona State University, I am able to provide quality help in writing. I am able to help with essays, creative writing, and persuasive writing. I will proofread or provide feedback directly on content as well. I am willing to help at the collegiate level, as well as 1-12 grade.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I like to hear about the student's background and past experiences with writing/reading in the English language. Then, I like them to present me with their exact issue or concern, or explain what ideas they'd like to share. From there, I craft feedback and share any resources I feel are relevant to their particular situation. I try to help all students lead sessions as they know best what they need, even if they are inward of it unaware of it. I just want them to be able to see the tools in their toolbox, have to opportunity to add more/throw some out, and to grow overall as writers and readers.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took Honors English courses in middle school, high school, and undergrad. I have two Bachelor's of Art, one in Psychology and the other, Sociology. I graduated from ASU and Barrett, The Honors College ranking with a GPA of 3.87.
While at school there, I worked as an online writing mentor for the Writer's Studio for 2.5 years. I graded work, revised feedback, and hosted workshops. I also created for and shared resources with students.
